Software Developer
We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team. This role involves creating, testing, and debugging software applications, and collaborating with our team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software throughout the development lifecycle.
This position is onsite in Orlando, FL. This role requires candidates to be a U.S Citizen and qualify for a U.S. Government Secret clearance. Preference will be given to candidates with active clearances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development: Create and maintain software applications for both Linux and Windows platforms.
- Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
- Project Management: Utilize Jira and Jama for effective project tracking and management.
- Documentation: Record development processes and project progress in Confluence.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in software development and/or testing, preferably with simulation systems.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in C++ programming.
- Experience with the Qt framework for cross-platform application development.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows applications.
- Familiarity with Jira, Jama, and Confluence.
- Previous experience with Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in developing test documentation (e.g., Requirements Traceability Matrix, Acceptance Test Plan, Use Case).
- Preferred experience in system design documentation.

- Basic operating systems (Linux, C, C++, Qt Windows applications)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Microsoft Project
- Issue tracking and information sharing tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Jama
- Testing equipment and software (Simulations, test bed environment, etc.)
Additional Requirements:
- A US Government security clearance will be required; candidates must be eligible.
